Stuart Ellman

Stuart Ellman is a co-founder and general partner at RRE Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City and Florida since June 1994. In addition to this role, Ellman serves as chairperson at Staircase, a company focused on modern mortgage infrastructure, since June 2020. From June 2003 to June 2023, Ellman was a board member at 92nd Street Y, holding positions as former chairman and president of the board during various terms. Ellman also contributed to academia as an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University from 2003 to June 2018, teaching courses on venture capital investing. Earlier career experiences include positions at Morgan Stanley, Dillon, Read and Co. Inc., and McKinsey & Company. Ellman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University.
