Anele Qwabaza

Anele Qwabaza is an experienced professional in the field of data science and analytics, currently serving as the Executive Head of Advanced Analytics at Standard Bank Group since December 2014, focusing on non-financial risk. Prior roles include Head of the Fraud Lab and Senior Manager of Insights and Analytics, where responsibilities involved advanced analytics and fraud detection. Before joining Standard Bank, Anele worked at Absa as Manager of Collections Strategy and as a Credit Analyst, concentrating on collections strategies and predictive modeling. Anele's career began at SAS as a Consultant in Analytics and Business Intelligence. Educational qualifications include a Master of Management in Digital Business from Wits Business School and two degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, one being a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computational and Applied Mathematics.
