Marnus Olivier

Marnus Olivier has extensive experience in audit and risk management within the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of Audit CIB IB, Int, CC & Operations at Standard Bank Group since April 2018, overseeing risk-based audit activities for Global Markets. Prior roles include Senior Audit Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, where Marnus managed audits across Southern Africa and other regions, and Business Risk Officer at Absa Investments, responsible for multiple business units. Marnus also held the position of Internal Audit Manager for Absa's Corporate Investment Bank and Wealth division and started the career as an Audit Manager at KPMG, delivering risk management and audit services. Marnus holds a B.Com Honours degree in Internal Audit from Tuks and a Matric in Accounting and Finance from Centurion High.
