Deeqa Mahamed

Deeqa Mahamed is a highly experienced scientist specializing in applications support and product development within the field of mass cytometry. Currently serving as a Field Application Scientist II at Standard BioTools since October 2021, Deeqa provides advanced customer applications support, collaborates with marketing teams, and develops technical documentation. Previous roles include Product Applications Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children, where Deeqa conducted experiments using advanced cytometry techniques, and Postdoctoral Fellow positions at University Health Network and KwaZulu-Natal Research Institute for TB and HIV, focusing on Mycobacterium tuberculosis dynamics. Deeqa holds a PhD in Immunology from Cornell University and a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology from Western University.
