Qanber Raza

Qanber Raza, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of imaging and spatial biology with extensive experience in product development and scientific research. Currently serving as Manager of Imaging Product Development at Standard BioTools since July 2021, Qanber leads a team in advancing imaging techniques for high-parameter spatial biology applications across various fields, including immuno-oncology and neuroscience. Prior roles at Standard BioTools included Product Development Scientist II and Product Development Scientist, contributing to innovations in imaging mass cytometry and marker development for tumor applications. Qanber's academic foundation includes a PhD in Genetics, Developmental and Cell Biology from McMaster University, where previous postdoctoral fellowships involved optimizing cell culture conditions and conducting high-throughput assays. Additional teaching experience at the University of Pittsburgh and McMaster University further highlights Qanber's expertise in educating the next generation of scientists.
