Ugochukwu Nwachukwu has extensive experience in the field of standards engineering, currently serving as Assistant Chief Standards Engineer at the Standards Organisation of Nigeria since July 2010. Key achievements include serving as the Secretary of the Oil & Gas Committee, promoting inter-governmental collaboration for policy formulation and certification in the oil and gas sector. Ugochukwu has also held several engineering roles, notably as a laboratory supervisor and a certified factory inspector, contributing to product compliance and standards revisions. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna, and an Ordinary National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology from the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.

We are the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. We ensure that locally manufactured products in Nigeria give the required degree of satisfaction to consumers through compliance with Government policies on standardisation and conformity assessment. We also ensure that goods imported into Nigeria meet the minimum requirements of Nigeria Industrial Standards or any other approved international standards. We do all these to improve the lives of people through quality assurance and standards having branches in the following states in Nigeria Abuja, Abia, Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross-River, Edo, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Rivers.
