Hannah Stevens is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Communications Lead at StandOut since November 2023. Previously, Hannah held the role of Prisoner Learning Alliance Network Officer at the Prisoners' Education Trust from March 2022 to October 2023, focusing on influencing prison education policy across England and Wales. Hannah's experience also includes serving as Communications and Membership Engagement Coordinator at Ariadne, where Hannah developed communications strategies and managed membership contributions. Earlier roles include Programme Associate at Ariadne, Policy and Campaigns Intern at the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants, Team Organiser at Atkins, and Curriculum Directorate Assistant at Swindon College. Hannah holds a Master of Science in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from UCL.

StandOut's mission is that more people leaving prison are empowered to transform their own lives, realise their potential, and escape the justice system for good. We do that through intensive programmes for people inside prison, followed by 1:1 coaching and holistic support after release for as long as required. Proud winner of the Robin Corbett Award 2021.
