Undergraduate Researcher: Petritsch Lab at Stanford Medicine

Alexa Gwyn is an undergraduate researcher at Vassar College in Dr. Bergstrom's Memory Neuroscience Lab, focusing on how memory changes over time. In addition to current work at Vassar, Alexa conducts wet-lab research at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Petritsch Lab, developing patient-derived models for gliomas. Previous experience includes internships and leadership roles emphasizing technology and mental health initiatives, such as serving as a Product Catalyst Intern at evrmore, a youth member of the RALLY HX Project Team, and chairing the Teen Leadership Council for LookUp, where Alexa planned a youth summit in collaboration with The Social Dilemma. Additional roles encompass editing for the Palo Alto High School arts and culture magazine and conducting research at Stanford's Petritsch Lab. Alexa Gwyn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at Vassar College.
