Nitin Parekh serves as the Founding Director of the High Impact Technology Fund and Director of Sustainability Strategic Alliances at Stanford University since January 2022, where emphasis is placed on translating Stanford lab technologies into practical applications. Nitin is also on the Board of Directors for Ion Storage Systems and openwater.in, focusing on advancements in solid-state battery technology and innovative wastewater treatment solutions, respectively. Previously, Nitin contributed as a Board Observer at Taclov Inc and held various roles at IBM, including Program Director for Strategic Business Development and Venture Investment, where multi-million dollar collaborations were developed. Nitin has extensive experience in venture advising, having worked with TEL Venture Capital and several global companies in advisory capacities, and held leadership positions at PARC, NanoNexus Inc, and Novellus Systems. Nitin holds an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
