Richard Ashfield has extensive experience in rugby coaching and management, currently serving as the Interim Head Coach for the USA Rugby Women's National Team and Assistant Coach at Stanford University since 2014 and 2016, respectively. As Co-Founder of Rugby Coaching Connection, Richard helped develop professional tools for rugby coaches in the USA from 2012 to 2023. Previous roles include Manager of Logistics at Virgin Pulse, Purchasing Manager at Rugby Imports LTD, and Head Coach for the Northeast Rugby Union. Richard also worked as a Rugby Development Officer with the IRFU Ulster Branch. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Dundee.
