Tanya Holland is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Stanford Food Institute and a Consulting Chef for Red Skillet Kitchen, Holland also holds a position as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Awards Committee at The James Beard Foundation. As the Owner and Chef of Brown Sugar Kitchen since 2008, Holland has contributed significantly to culinary culture, previously appearing as a Top Chef contestant on Bravo TV. Additionally, Holland's expertise has been recognized through roles such as Chef Consultant at the Center For Culinary Development, Guest Chef on The Today Show, and Co-President of Les Dames d'Escoffier International. Holland's culinary education includes the prestigious Grande Diplôme from La Varenne École de Cuisine and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
