Michelle Kincanon

Michelle Kincanon serves as the Interim Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at California State University, Stanislaus, providing executive leadership in human resources, equity, and compliance operations. Kincanon previously held the position of Senior Director of Talent Management and Workforce Development within the same institution, where leadership was provided to HR operations and workforce development strategies. Kincanon’s prior experience includes roles at Modesto Irrigation District as Safety Officer and Human Resources Analyst II, and as Business Development Manager at the Foundation for California Community Colleges, in addition to serving as Regional Recruiting Manager at Enterprise Rent A Car. Kincanon holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, complemented by an Associate of Arts in General Education from Modesto Junior College.
