Luke Karels, PE, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President and Program Manager for the Energy Market at Stanley Consultants since 2007. Throughout tenure, Luke has held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Group Manager for Transmission & Distribution, focusing on project management and structural design for high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission lines and substations. With a strong background in both above-grade and below-grade transmission line structural design, Luke is adept in developing schedules, budgets, and construction plans. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Intern at WSB & Associates, Inc. Luke holds a Master of Infrastructure Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
