Miwako Horisawa, CPA, currently serves as a Sr Accountant in Financial Reporting at Stanley Martin Homes since October 2020. With a robust background in finance, Miwako previously worked as a Finance Accounting Consultant at RGP, where responsibilities included consolidation for over 200 subsidiaries in a renewable energy company. Prior experience at Accenture France involved client financial management for the Strategy Upstream Group across Europe, Africa, and the Caspian region following the acquisition of the Schlumberger division. Miwako held various roles at Schlumberger, including Controller for both the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region and the Asia region, where financial planning and profitability analysis were key functions. Additional expertise includes financial analysis for R&D projects in Japan and support for business operations in Vietnam. Miwako’s early career began at Nitto Co., Ltd as a Trading and Accounting Clerk. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese language and affairs from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and extensive coursework in Accounting and Business/Management from California State University - East Bay.
