Laura Trudell

Laura Trudell is a GIS Specialist at Stantec since May 2014, with expertise in managing, processing, and distributing data, modeling GIS workflows, converting data types, and writing custom code for project-specific tasks. Previously, Laura worked as a Junior GIS Analyst at the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, where notable projects included creating Acid Rock Drainage Risk Potential Maps and calculating coastal erosion rates. Laura also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University, instructing courses related to GIS and environmental health. Laura holds an Advanced Diploma in GIS from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Community Design with honors in Environmental Planning from Dalhousie University.
