William Jiang

William JIANG has a diverse work experience in various roles related to software development and testing. William started their career as an Android Developer at InGenius Labs, where they developed UI and service logic for an Android app within a tight schedule. Later, at Racing Information Services Australia, they worked as a Software Developer and enhanced the searching function of a racing information service using advanced database techniques.

After that, William joined ING DIRECT Australia as a Software Developer/Tester, where they located and fixed failed tests by optimizing SQL queries and resolving issues in CUIT/Telerik/Selenium frameworks. William then worked as a Consultant at SMS Management & Technology, incorporating an Oracle Arquillian-based Java automation framework and developing their own JAVA testing framework.

In 2019, William joined Shell Energy as an Automation Test Developer, where they worked on the Microsoft D365 Online CRM Project and the CNI Invoice Redesign project. William built an automation test suite and developed a C# SQL helper for the migration project.

In 2021, William joined the Queensland Police Service as a Senior Software Developer and worked on the NCIS Consumption project. William upgraded multiple legacy WCF services with REST APIs and troubleshooted and optimized various issues. William also managed build pipelines and conducted POCs with HttpClient.

William's next role was as a Senior Quality Engineer at Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited. William contributed to the NextGen GPS Project by creating utilities for automation testing, developing automation scripts, and implementing dynamic-based utilities for GraphQL API automation.

In 2022, William worked as a DevOps Developer at the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs, where they used PowerShell/Python to automate Dynamics 365 build and deployment via Azure DevOps.

Currently, William is working as a Senior Analyst Programmer at Stanwell Corporation Limited.

Overall, William has demonstrated strong skills in software development, automation testing, and troubleshooting, and has experience working on various projects in different industries.

William JIANG obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data from edX, which was obtained in November 2020. William also completed the courses "Learning Python with PyCharm" and "Advanced Python" from LinkedIn in February 2019 and January 2019, respectively.
