Previously, Deshan held roles as a Business Analyst and Management Trainee in Process Improvement, centralizing KPIs and developing business intelligence dashboards for numerous factories. Deshan's earlier experience includes an internship at UZABASE Inc., where analytical skills were honed in the mining sector, as well as internships at Ceylon Tobacco Company and Premium International, focusing on reconciliations, tax preparation, and internal audits. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from the University of Bristol, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of London, and various certifications in accounting and management.
