Java Developer

We are looking for a number of experienced Java software developers to work as part of a small dev team based in Cork, Ireland. A solid understanding of software and system architectures that are scalable and extendable that are based on the Java programming language is required. A sound knowledge of AWS, networking, DB performance is a plus.

What you need for this job:

• 3+ years in software development roles
• Proficiency in Java and Java based frameworks such as Spring
• Some knowledge of AWS services and security, containerisation, DB optimisation, networking, linux, DevOps processes
• Good organisation, project management, and communication skills; you’re detail oriented and have the ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
• Proven team experience with a high degree of professional maturity and ability to manage and motivate diverse and geographically spread out teams
• Experience in implementing change in processes, approaches and technologies to deliver business benefits to stakeholders
