Dan Conway

Dan Conway has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at Starr Insurance Companies since August 2015, overseeing casualty insurance. Prior to this role, Dan was Senior Vice President for Casualty Construction, focusing on primary and excess insurance, transportation, and Defense Base Act coverage. Between March 1995 and July 2015, Dan held various positions at AIG, culminating in a role in Global Casualty where responsibilities included determining underwriting guidelines and assessing portfolio profitability worldwide. Dan's career began at PMA Insurance as President of Construction Risk & Surety and Underwriting Manager from 1987 to 1995. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, earned between 1981 and 1987.
