John Podias

John Podias has extensive experience in data analysis, currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst and Team Lead at Starr Companies since June 2019. Previous roles at Starr include Data Analyst and participation in the Starr Associate Development Program. John’s background includes academic experience as a Statistics Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Learning Assistant at Eberly College of Science, Penn State University, where assistance was provided in statistics courses. Additionally, John worked as a Lead Fixed Income Analyst at the Penn State Asset Management Group and held various internships at AIG and the New York City Police Department, focusing on risk analysis and data management. John holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with minors in Mathematics and Economics from Penn State University.
