Richard Etridge

Richard Etridge is an experienced insurance professional with a strong background in aviation and specialty lines. Currently serving as an Underwriting Manager at Starr Insurance Companies since January 2022, Richard previously held significant leadership roles, including Head of Aviation Insurance at elseco Limited and CEO of StarStone Insurance SE, where responsibilities included business generation and product development across Continental EU offices. Additionally, Richard served as CEO of Torus Insurance Europe, leading business development in the region, and was a founding member of Glacier (Re)Insurance and Faraday Syndicate, where Richard contributed to establishing aviation as a key line of business. Richard's career began as an Underwriter at GE Frankona, specializing in reinsurance and direct insurance portfolios.
