Albert is currently a product manager at Sentry, a SaaS product that monitors software in production for crashes and performance problems. Used by companies such as Disney, Microsoft, Github and more.Previously, Albert has managed hardware and software products across industries such as telecom, lighting, commercial real estate and insurance.

Albert was a former volunteer of Start Proud for 4 years. Albert’s efforts to grow the non-profit was recognized by Canadian Business magazine as a ‘2017 Change Agent’ and received the ‘2018 Accenture Innovator of the Year’ award. Albert continues to support the LGBTQ+ community by volunteering with Rainbow Railroad on a refugee settlement team and helps with events for Queertech.

Albert holds a BASc from the University of Waterloo and a MASc from the University of Toronto.

Our objectives at Start Proud are to: 1. Inspire students to utilize their confidence, skills and knowledge that will enable them to distinguish themselves and act as leaders of the Canadian community. 2. Connect students with fellow peers, professionals and members from pro-LGBTQA organizations to establish their network. 3. Foster mentorship by exposing students to strong leaders and role models that have paved the way for the LGBTQA community. 4. Establish a positive public profile of the advancement of the LGBTQA community in the Canadian workforce and communities within which we operate.
