Luis Fernandez holds an Executive MBA and extensive experience in enterprise risk management and internal audit across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Risk Management at SECU since June 2022, Luis is responsible for leading and managing organizational risk. Previous roles include Senior Audit Director at Ally, where strategic elements for Internal Audit Services were developed, and Director of Operational Risk Management at Capital One, managing risk assessment programs and developing innovative risk solutions. Additional experience spans senior leadership positions in operational risk at First Citizens Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Wells Fargo Securities, and Wachovia. Luis's academic background includes a Bachelor in Arts from Lynn University and an Executive MBA from Queens University of Charlotte.
