John Newton

John Newton is an experienced professional in learning and development, currently serving as the Executive Consultant and Head of Learning and Development at State of Flux since September 2011, where responsibilities include developing a world-class Supplier Relationship Management learning program. Prior to this, John held various roles at NCR Corporation from November 1997 to September 2011, culminating in the position of Global Sales Learning Director, where John led the development of a global sales curriculum and integrated training strategies. Additional roles at NCR included consulting with senior leaders on training for major product lines and managing training design and delivery for a wide audience across EMEA. Earlier in John's career, positions included Customer Education Manager at NCR UK Limited, Principal Education Consultant at AT&T Global Information Solutions, and Senior Lecturer with Leicestershire Education Authority. John earned an MSc in Education from Loughborough University between 1988 and 1990.
