Sheila D. Adkins

Sheila D. Adkins, MS, CPTD, is a seasoned professional in talent development with extensive experience across various educational and corporate environments. Currently serving as a Senior Talent Development Consultant for the State of Maine since October 2020, Sheila manages talent development initiatives for state employees. In addition, Sheila contributes as a Course Facilitator at Great Bay Community College and as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of New Hampshire, focusing on the Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program. As the Founder and Talent Development Leader of Swim to the Sky LLC, Sheila provides tailored talent development solutions. Previous roles include significant positions at Barclays, where Sheila managed learning programs and compliance processes in multiple capacities. Sheila holds a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Maine at Farmington.
