Jonny Dorsey

Jonny Dorsey is a seasoned professional in innovation, policy, and civic engagement with extensive experience in governmental and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor on Innovation and Impact for the State of Maryland, Dorsey previously held roles including Incoming Deputy Chief of Staff for Maryland Governor Wes Moore and various positions at Emerson Collective, where leadership focused on democracy and national service. Dorsey has contributed to several political campaigns and initiatives, advocating for progressive policies in immigration, criminal justice, and education. Educational credentials include an MPA in International and Global Affairs and an MBA from Harvard Kennedy School and Stanford University, respectively, along with a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
