Orin Schmitt

Orin Schmitt is an experienced Training and Development Specialist with a strong background in workforce development and instructional design. Currently employed at the State of Oregon since December 2018, Orin develops and implements strategies for employee training, including creating comprehensive onboarding programs and utilizing various e-learning tools, such as Articulate 360 and Captivate. Previous roles include positions at SE Works where Orin specialized in presenting training using diverse instructional techniques and facilitating job seeker workshops, as well as instructional design at Moda Health. Orin has extensive experience in human resources and learning and development from tenures at The Standard and U.S. Bank, where responsibilities included managing training initiatives, conducting needs analyses, and leading teams in customer service training and technical support.
