Sara Stone

Sara Stone, CPPB, OPMA, serves as an IT Procurement Strategist for the State of Oregon since October 2019, leading complex IT procurements and providing strategic guidance to agency stakeholders. Sara previously held various roles at the Arizona Department of Economic Security, including Deputy Business Administrator, where management of a substantial operating budget and oversight of multiple programmatic administrations were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes positions such as Senior Procurement Officer at the Arizona Department of Transportation and Contracts Officer at the Oregon Department of Energy. Sara has a foundational education from Chemeketa Community College and is skilled in procurement strategies, contract management, and financial operations.
