John Elflein

John Elflein has a diverse work experience. John began their career as an Intern at the International Secondary School, where they assisted the physical education teacher in planning and implementing activities for class. John also worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Kids Columbus English Kindergarten, where they taught subjects such as Math, Science, English, Art, and Reading to children aged 4-7. As part of their studies, they completed an internship at The Research Group Climate Change and Security (CLISEC) and wrote their Masters thesis under the supervision of Dr. Prof. Juergen Scheffran. John then worked as a Freelance English Language Trainer, where they organized and led groups of professionals to improve their business English language skills. Currently, they are employed at Statista as a Junior/Senior Researcher, responsible for developing and overseeing the health sector of the company's online platform. John has recently taken on the additional role of analyzing the performance of the team's online content and developing internal guides on health-related subjects.

John Elflein holds a Master's Degree in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Hamburg, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Temple University Japan, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. John completed their high school education at Cedaredge High School from 2003 to 2007, focusing on General Studies.
