Nizar Chakkour

Nizar Chakkour has extensive experience in communication and media, currently serving as Brand Communications Manager and Senior Advisor at Statistics Sweden, contributing to strengthening statistical capacity in Somalia through collaboration with UNFPA. Previously, Nizar held the role of Chief Press Officer, overseeing external communications and media relations. Prior experience includes working as a PR consultant at Prime PR, a journalist at Dagens Nyheter and various other news outlets, and developing specialized PR plans. Nizar holds a Bachelor of Science in Press Studies, Ethnology, and Social Anthropology from Lund University, along with a degree in market communications from Stockholm University.
