Jarrod Bakker

Jarrod Bakker is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as a Technical Lead in Corporate Technology and DevOps at Stats NZ, with a focus on implementing Azure Landing Zones and advancing DevOps practices. With extensive experience as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer and Senior Cloud DevOps and Security Engineer, Jarrod has contributed to cloud infrastructure projects, including an Azure Databricks-based data lakehouse and developing AWS environments for data consultancy services. Previous roles include IT Graduate and Graduate GovTechTalent positions within various governmental agencies, along with a solid academic foundation, holding both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Network Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington.
