Mark Kirkpatrick

Mark Kirkpatrick is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in senior management roles, currently serving as Senior Manager Technology Services at Stats NZ since November 2021. In this position, Mark is responsible for critical infrastructure service design, overseeing major initiatives such as the Census 2023 dissemination, and managing a multi-disciplinary team. Previously, Mark held various roles at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ), including Channels Manager and Lead Product Owner, where contributions included the development of the Channels Strategy and leadership in the all-of-government COVID-19 response. Mark's career also encompasses positions in digital communications management and online services optimization across multiple organizations, including Ulster University and Danske Bank UK. Educational credentials include a PG HDip in Information Technology from Maynooth University and a Bachelor's in Media Studies from Ulster University.
