Tim Henwood

Tim Henwood is an experienced professional with a strong background in data strategy, policy, and engagement. Currently serving as Principal Transformation Lead at Stats NZ since August 2016, Tim has held multiple roles including Principal Policy Advisor and Senior Advisor in various capacities related to data systems and capability. Prior to this, Tim worked at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner from August 2010 to August 2016 as a Senior Policy Adviser and Policy Adviser focused on technology. Tim began a career at Greater Wellington Regional Council as a Policy Analyst from November 2006 to July 2010. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington, which was completed in 2006.
