Engr. Chimaroke Ukaegbu

Engr. Chimaroke Ukaegbu is a seasoned professional in the electrical and electronics engineering field with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Technical Sales Manager at SteamaCo since January 2023, Chimaroke contributes to the advancement of an IoT smart metering platform aimed at transforming energy distribution in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, from August 2020 to March 2023, Chimaroke held dual roles as Head of Non MD Metering and Revenue Protection Technical Team Lead at Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, focusing on strategies to enhance revenue and oversee metering projects. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Management Technical Officer at Income Electrix Limited from June 2016 to July 2020, managing non-MD metering projects within PHED's distribution networks. Chimaroke holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, obtained in 2012.
