Leon Hendrix

Leon Hendrix is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Global Executive Communications Manager at Steelcase since August 2024, Leon oversees executive communications for a global leader in workplace design. Prior experience includes leading communications and external affairs as the Executive Director for Grand Rapids Public Schools from August 2022 to July 2024, ensuring effective storytelling for the district's scholars. At Spectrum Health, from 2020 to 2022, Leon led content development for the organization's video communications team, showcasing its impact on community health. Previously, Leon spent over a decade at WOOD TV8, where roles included Weekend News Anchor, Managing Editor, and News Reporter, managing broadcasts and mentoring new talent. Leon holds a degree from Hope College, completed in 2008.
