Tim Merkle

Tim Merkle is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in digital strategy and analytics. Currently serving as the Senior Global Director for Digital Experience and Innovation at Steelcase, Tim drives innovation across the digital ecosystem while managing strategic partnerships with major technology companies. Previous roles at Steelcase include Director of Strategy & Growth, Director of Customer, Business Operations & Insights for Smart + Connected Workplace, and Chief of Staff in Global Information Technology, where Tim facilitated digital transformation initiatives. As a co-founder of Branch Plan, LLC., Tim focuses on supporting veteran-owned small businesses through strategic consulting. Tim's background also includes experience as a Strategic Policy Analytics Analyst and Program Manager in the United States Marine Corps, where leadership roles included managing complex strategic projects. Tim holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management from Miami University.
