Born in 1965, Éric Vachon is a Canadian business executive who has served as the President and CEO of Stella-Jones since 2019. Éric previously held various positions at the company, including Senior Vice President and CFO from 2012 to 2019, Vice President of Finance for U.S. Operations from 2008 to 2012, and Director of Treasury and Financial Reporting from 2007 to 2008. Prior to joining Stella-Jones, Vachon worked as a cost accountant at Marion Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals from 1992 to 1995 and as an auditor at Price Waterhouse from 1990 to 1992.
Éric Vachon completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Université de Montréal - HEC Montréal, with a focus in accounting. Éric also attended Maisonneuve College. Éric is certified as a CPA, CA.

Stella-Jones is a Canada-based company, which is a producer and marketer of pressure treated wood products. The Company supplies North America's railroad operators with railway ties and timbers, and the continent's electrical utilities and telecommunication companies with utility poles. It manufactures and distributes residential lumber and accessories to retailers for outdoor applications, as well as industrial products, which include marine and foundation pilings, construction timbers, wood for bridges and coal tar-based products. It has treating and pole peeling facilities across Canada and the United States, and sells its products primarily in these two countries. The Company operates approximately 35 treating plants, approximately 15 pole-peeling facilities and a coal tar distillery. These facilities are located in approximately five Canadian provinces and approximately 18 American states, and are complemented by an extensive distribution network across North America.
