François Finet is an experienced engineering professional specializing in system integration and advanced instrumentation. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer for Stellaromics Inc. since October 2024, François previously held roles including Lead System Designer at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., and Lead Electronic, Mechanical, and Control Engineer at JW Fishers Mfg. Inc., where François focused on underwater robotics for first-responder and defense applications. Earlier experiences include a Research Fellow position at Subaru Telescope, leading efforts on the Hyper Suprime Cam, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, where François contributed to optical telescope development and theoretical astrophysics research.
