Paul Roder is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing software solutions for various applications in genomics and imaging systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Stellaromics Inc. since October 2024, Paul previously held the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer at Bionano, where responsibilities included software instrument control and image analysis algorithm development for DNA genomic variation mapping. Earlier in the career, Paul worked at Intrexon Corporation focusing on cell characterization and laser processing systems, and at Cyntellect, where contributions included computer vision system software for live cell manipulation. Additionally, Paul has experience in print inspection and circuit board X-ray inspection systems from tenures at HP and Agilent Technologies, respectively. Paul Roder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University, obtained between 1981 and 1986.
