Hassan Essop

Hassan Essop is a lecturer at Stellenbosch University since July 2007, specializing in Macroeconomics for first and second-year students and Public Economics for third-year students. Prior experience includes serving as a presenter for Radio Sonder Grense (RSG) from May 2008 to May 2009, where a show focused on small businesses and entrepreneurship was hosted, featuring notable guests such as Koos Bekker. Before that, from October 2005 to June 2007, Hassan worked as an Economist at the Western Cape Provincial Treasury, contributing to various economic reports and strategies. Hassan holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch, completed in 2006, and completed Matric at Gordon Senior Secondary between 1994 and 1998.
