John Mitchell

John Mitchell is an experienced MPD Operations Engineer currently employed at Stena Drilling since May 2023. Prior to this role, John served as an MPD Field Engineer at Weatherford from April 2018 to May 2023, specializing in Microflux Control System services for notable clients including Total, Equinor, and Harbour Energy. Additionally, John began the career in Weatherford’s Managed Pressure Drilling department as a Junior MPD Field Engineer. Earlier experience includes working at Expro from July 2012 to April 2018, performing as an Assistant Wireline Operator and holding roles as a Maintenance Technician and Apprentice Maintenance Technician. John holds a Level 4 IWCF Combined Surface & Subsea certification.
