Mark Walley, CDir, serves as the Chief Executive at STEP – Advising Families Across Generations since January 2019. Prior experience includes membership in the Advisory Forum Working Group at the International Valuation Standards Council from January 2017 to December 2018, providing insights on the implementation of IVSC standards. Mark Walley held multiple roles at RICS from February 2011 to December 2018, culminating as Regional Managing Director for EMEA, where responsibilities included shaping strategic direction for 82,000 members. Earlier, Mark Walley led the corporate education department at ifs School of Finance and served as Regional Director at Cohen Brown Europe, specializing in sales culture transformation. Key roles at Barclays Wealth encompassed Chief Operating Officer and Sales Director within International Wealth Management, ensuring operational efficiency and improving sales culture. Mark Walley's foundational experience includes diverse positions at Barclays Bank from 1981 to 2002, complemented by an educational background that includes a BSc in Financial Services and Chartered Director qualifications from the Institute of Directors.
