Frederic Ruel

Frederic Ruel is an experienced professional in procurement and sustainability, currently serving as the Europe & APAC Sustainability Director at Stepan Company since May 2021, where responsibilities include driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering collaboration on ESG goals. Prior to this role, Frederic held various positions within Stepan Europe S.A.S., including Global Procurement Director and Purchasing Director for Europe, overseeing procurement teams and participating in strategic lead teams. Frederic's extensive background includes roles at Dow Corning-Multibase, where the focus was on global procurement strategies, as well as earlier experiences at 3M France in both procurement management and technical support. Frederic holds a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Wayne State University and an Engineer's degree in Chemistry from CPE Lyon.
