Jacob Mark

Jacob Mark currently serves as the Head of People at Stepful since January 2025. Previously, Jacob held the position of Head of Talent & People Operations at Updater and Interim VP of People at Flex, where leadership in recruiting enabled the company to support over 200 hires in 2022 during a period of rapid growth. Jacob's career includes significant roles such as Head of Talent at Teachable, where the scaling of the team contributed to its successful acquisition. Early experiences in recruiting began at Circle and other startups, highlighting expertise in both technical and talent acquisition. An entrepreneurial spirit was demonstrated with the founding of Vintage Bikes Galore during college, showcasing diverse skills from business development to hands-on technical work. Academic qualifications were obtained from Brandeis University and Hunter College.
