Mr. Chandra Kishore Thakur, aged 59 years, the CEO – Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe has been associated with the Sterling & Wilson Group since January 09, 2018 and has been part of the Company with effect from July 01, 2018 pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) Degree from NIT Jamshedpur (formerly known as Regional Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur) and Masters of Business Administration from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He has completed the programme for development managers from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. He is also the first IPMA level ‘A’ certified Portfolio Director (CPD) in India in the domain of portfolio management. This is the highest level of certification awarded by IPMA through PMA India.

Further, Mr. Thakur has over 34 years of experience in the Power and Infrastructure sector. He has previously worked with Punj Lloyd Limited as President and Chief Executive Officer – Infrastructure and Power, Lanco Infratech Limited as the Chief Operating Officer and NTPC Ltd as the Deputy General Manager. He is the Vice-President of the National Management Committee of ‘Project Management Associates’ (PMA) India, a not-for-profit organization and a member association of ‘International Project Management Association’ (IPMA).
