Dan Stark is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and research sectors. Currently serving as R&D Group Leader and previously holding titles such as Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Process R&D Chemist at Sterling Pharma Solutions since November 2017, Dan has made significant contributions to research and development. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a Postdoctoral Research Chemist at Syngenta's International Research Centre and as a Process Development Chemist at Almac Group, focusing on the development of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Dan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, complemented by a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Northumbria University. Early career experience includes a postdoctoral position in organocatalysis research and serving as a Civilian Instructor with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, where responsibilities included organizing events and providing lectures.
