Isabelle Condor

Isabelle Condor is an emerging researcher currently serving as a Research Assistant at FIOCRUZ, focusing on experimental chemotherapy for Chagas disease. In addition, Isabelle holds the position of Public Relations Officer at the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society and engages in bioinformatics research at Stetson University, where a Python tool was developed for analyzing genomic data related to membrane fusion. Previous research experience includes a focus on molecular biology and cell-cell fusion in yeast. Isabelle's commitment to community involvement is demonstrated through roles as an intern at Students Recover, a Bonner Student at The Bonner Foundation, and various leadership positions, including a coaching role at the Latin American Leadership Academy and leadership with the Girl Up initiative. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology and Applied Mathematics at Stetson University, Isabelle has also completed a certificate in community involvement from LALA.
