Steve Madden
Dana McCarthy has extensive work experience in the fashion industry. They started their career as a Design Director at Michael Kors in 2003 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined Steve Madden as a Creative Director from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Camuto Group as an SVP and continued in that role until 2023. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Sunrise Brands as an SVP Design Creative Director. Currently, they are working at Steve Madden as the SVP Creative Director.
Dana McCarthy completed a 3-month course in Footwear Design and Technical School, along with a 1-month CAD program in 1999 at Arsturio. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, Dana pursued an Associates degree in Apparel Design and Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, from 1996 to 1998, Dana obtained an Associate's degree with a specialization in Art, specifically in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
