Charles O'Brien

Charles O'Brien is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Editorial Projects at Stevens Institute of Technology since November 2016. In this role, O'Brien is responsible for strategic communications and marketing content aimed at enhancing the university's profile among external stakeholders, functioning as the managing editor of the university magazine, Stevens Indicator. O'Brien is also involved with the strategic communications and brand management teams, contributing to various projects, including feature stories and brand guide updates. Previously, O'Brien held the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, overseeing public relations for 25 Division III sports, managing social media, and maintaining the athletics website, along with event management and budget oversight. Additional experience includes roles at the Atlantic Metropolitan Hockey League and Pratt Institute, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in History from Saint Peter's University.
