Paul Van der Putten primarily handles complex litigation matters related to various commercial contracts, liability issues, company disputes, security interests and enforcement.
Paul is a highly experienced and respected litigator who advises and deals with complex disputes in various areas of law, including contract and corporate law. He is also an expert in insolvency and restructuring issues and is frequently appointed as liquidator for various voluntarily dissolved companies in different industries. Furthermore, Paul assists a broad range of international and national clients with their distribution contracts, including the drafting, interpretation and related litigation. He also has substantial expertise in advising global manufacturers in the fields of product safety and product recall.
Paul is a member of INSOL Europe, a European organisation of professionals specialising in insolvency and restructurings. In addition, he is the author of various publications on his areas of expertise.
Paul graduated in Law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1982. He joined the Brussels office of Stibbe as from its start in 1991.
